Jessica Simpson Sells First Photo of Baby Maxwell for $800,000

Just weeks after she welcomed her first daughter into the world, Jessica Simpson hooked a deal with People magazine to sell pictures of Maxwell Drew Johnson for $800,000.

These exclusive photos of the two-week old baby girl, fathered by the fashion icon's fiance Eric Johnson are an addition to the $3 million deal Miss Simpson signed with Weight Watchers to promote her more than 40 pound pregnancy pound shed.

“The market for celebrity babies simply doesn’t exist anymore," Jo Piazza, a journalist specializing in celebrity income told the blog Fashionista. "Magazines realized that it doesn’t benefit them to pay over a million."

In 2008, the publication paid Jennifer Lopez an outstanding $6 million for pictures of her twins, while OK magazine offered Matthew McConaughey $3 million for exclusive prints of his baby boy the same year.

The blonde beauty is not putting the extra earnings to waste as she continues to shower her little one with gifts and tweeted Friday (May 11), "I'm addicted to buying headbands w massive flowers for Maxwell on etsy," the gushing mom and "Fashion Star. She is insanely beautiful I can't help but play dress up!"

Serena Williams' First Rap Track: Listen Now!

It seems Serena Williams has a few hidden talents off the tennis court, and one of those talents just surfaced when a track to a rap song hit the internet on Friday (May 11).

The tennis pro has apparently been working on spitting lyrics for some time, and recorded a few songs last year at a studio owned by Baltimore Ravens lineman Bryant McKinnie.

The rap starts out with Serena saying, "I ball hard no tennis rackin', I can see these haters through my Gucci glasses," and although the entire rap is about tennis and her flashy lifestyle, the beat is surprisingly catchy.

Check out the short rap that Serena recorded below, and you'll find she even gave her sister Venus a shout out!

Brad Pitt: First Man To Front Chanel No. 5

For the first time ever, a male is expected to emerge as the face of Chanel No. 5 - and that fella is said to be none other than Brad Pitt.

Sources say the 48-year-old actor will start shooting the first ad campaigns in London this week after reportedly signing on as the spokesperson for the famous French scent.

However, Pitt comes with a hefty price tag. According to E! Online, the "Fight Club" stud is allegedly being paid somewhere in the "seven figures" range to lend his image to Chanel No. 5.

Brad joins a number of famous faces to pose for the perfume including Nicole Kidman, Keira Knightley and Ali McGraw.

The campaign is expected to launch overseas sometime later this year.

After a String of Gems, AMC's First Truly Terrible Drama Is...

It was bound to happen sooner or later: AMC has a dud on its hands.

The network's track record thus far has been enviable, but 'Hell on Wheels' (10PM Sunday, AMC) is disappointing on any number of levels. I certainly wasn't a fan of how 'The Killing' ended its debut season, but at least that show started out strong, and the rest of the network's programs offer compelling characters, distinctive aesthetics or solid takes on conventional premises. In some cases, AMC's dramas excel in all of those arenas and many more.

'Hell on Wheels' does one thing well: It's good at being tedious.

There is a truly compelling performance in the early going, but that doesn't come from star Anson Mount, who is glumly competent at best.

'Glee': Listen to the 'West Side Story' Songs From 'The First Time'

Filed under:

Glee The First Time SongsIn the next episode of 'Glee' (Tues., Nov. 8, 8PM ET) a few couples are going all the way, hence the name 'The First Time.'

The Fox series is also giving viewers a hearty dose of 'West Side Story' songs to go along with the monumental episode.

The 'Glee' cast covers 'A Boy Like That,' 'Tonight,' 'America,' and 'One Hand, One Heart.' Head on over to Wall Street Journal to hear the Warblers cover Billy Joel's 'Uptown Girl.'

Fans will remember this isn't the first time New Directions has tackled 'Tonight.' Back in Season 1, Tina was given the solo, much to Rachel's dismay. However, this time it's all Rachel (Lea Michele) and Blaine (Darren Criss) and they pretty much nail it.
